In fact, the people at mobileYouth reckon that, in the UK, 74% of 13-15 year olds, and 62% of 16-18 year olds, 'have ever bought and downloaded a mobile ringtone'.

Now you have the chance to create your very own, personalised ringtone using exclusive content from Habbo (the virtual world and social networking site for teens) and Hard2Beat, (the record label set up by music artist and entrepreneur FUGATIVE who is giving his support to PhoneBrain).

Getting Started

To kick things off, browse the music and artwork galleries and pick the tracks and images you'd like to work with (you can download this content onto your computer for free). Among the images in the artwork gallery, you'll find a range of Habbo avatar characters specially created for PhoneBrain, including a personal avatar created by PhoneBrain ambassador FUGATIVE.

Getting Started, para 2 – change to, ‘If you want to take it one step further, go to the Habbo website and create your own personalised avatar to download and use in your ringtone. You will need to register using an email address to do this.

Then download the Adobe software (Adobe After Effects and Adobe Audition) that you'll need to create your ringtone on your computer. You can get this direct from the Adobe website on a free 30-day trial.

Finally, once you've created your ringtone, don't forget to upload it on to this website to show the world how creative you are! You can also choose, when uploading your ringtone, to enter it into the PhoneBrain Ringtone Competition. Follow this link for more info on the competition.
